今回の第45回衆議院議員選挙で、半世紀にもわたった自民党の時代に、ついにピリオドを打った民主党。そこで、新政権のマニフェストから環境関連のものを抜き出してみた。

Democratic Party of Japan win landslide in historic election

On 45th general election House of Representatives of Japan, the Democratic Party of Japan ended a half-century of the Liberal Democratic Party era. So let's check out the Manifesto of new goverment about environmental matters.　

・温室効果ガスを2020年までに1990年比で25％削減、2050年までに60％超減を目標とする。
・キャップ＆トレード方式による実効ある国内排出量取引市場を創設。
・地球温暖化対策税の導入を検討。

・Aim to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 25 percent (from 1990 levels) by 2020 and by more than 60 percent (from 1990 levels) by 2050.
・Establish an effective domestic emissions trading market using the cap-and trade formula.
・Study the introduction of global warming taxes.　

・全量買い取り方式の再生可能エネルギーに対する固定価格買取制度を早期に導入。
・住宅用などの太陽光パネル、環境対応車、省エネ家電などの購入を助成する。
・新エネルギー・省エネルギー技術を活用し、イノベーションなどによる新産業を育成。

・Fast-track the introduction of a fixed-price purchase system that requires power companies to purchase the entire power output of renewable energy generators.
・Subsidise the purchase of solar panels for residential homes and other buildings, "green" vehicles, and energy-saving appliances.
・Foster new, innovation-based industries by harnessing new energy and energy-saving technologies.
